OraKill: Reach For the Sky
Come celebrate ✌The Cloud✌ by listening to some vinyl with me
Edit Jan. 2022: I've taken down orakill.apoplol.xyz, so links in this article won't function.
I am most-stoked (hyped, even) to announce that apoplol.xyz is teaming up with Oracle Corporation to expand into The CloudTM so that you can clog up their internet connection with your patronage. You can access one of my free new cloud computers at https://orakill.apoplol.xyz or by clicking the POPCLOUD link in the top bar.

I've always loved been entertained by Oracle. Everyone constantly complains about them, they once paid janitors to look through Microsoft's trash, wrote software so awful that the US Air Force scrapped a 7-year $1.1 billion USD project, and, for some reason, they own TikTok now.

Specifically because everyone hates them, and no one thinks they can do anything right, Oracle actually offers some pretty cool stuff (free) for literally anyone. Behold, the "Always* Free Tier" of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure:

Come sniff corks with me

Vinyl collecting and appreciation is kind of a cork sniffer-y thing. I don't have a vinyl player or any vinyl, but I do like to listen to digital vinyl rips and be generally groovy (on occasion). It doesn't sound "better" than regular digital audio, it just sounds "like vinyl."
I lit my last stick of incense at 22 while listening to real vinyl (I do love vinyl), but today, I listened to vinyl rips (Rush, Pink Floyd, Simon and Garfunkel, oh hell yeah Dream Theater, Supertramp, and The Beatles).
I wanted to share some of that with you guys on my cloud-computer vinyl player
Just click on a song name, and it'll play a vinyl rip for you
